this one is sort of leaning toward Italy, which as you know i have definitely been there!!! i have more fun doing all this stuff than should be legal in 3 states.

- this website came to fruition when i was in a zombie like haze from fatigue and exhaustion working all week. this kinda thing is sort of like being a bit drunk. there are things you don't normally do, like drunk dialing, calling your mother, ex boyfriend, or Canada. i just decided i wanted a website. so here it is. and no, i didn't try calling Canada. i love to create, in almost any medium. i love color, and probably wear too much of it at one time. i will try any crafting project once, and don't like to pigeonhole myself by having just one hobby. i will say that i revel in re using found objects, especially things from Goodwill, resale shops, the side of the road etc. chances are, if you have a pair of socks you don't want, i could probably make a car out of them. i know it sounds cliche', but i love to make stuff and build stuff. i once built a butcher block with a little help from mom, and it is now "repurposed" as my craft table (one of them).

Did you use the beeswax and resin combo that Diana had at the beeswax class? Where did you get it? I want to do some more of those, too......that was so much fun!
i got the beeswax from enkausticos.com and used the high grade stuff. no resin. it worked just fine. i am having a ball with it. as you know, from the class, we were all pretty much smitten.
